Notes
- Separately sold anti-vibration meter bracket is required for installation.
- Compatible only with vehicles originally equipped with a mechanical tachometer using a 1:5 gear ratio (tachometer cable type), such as the SR400.
- Not compatible with vehicles without a stock mechanical tachometer (including models such as FTR or TW), or vehicles with a different gear ratio.
- For DC 12V battery-equipped vehicles only.
- Not compatible with AC electrical systems, battery-less vehicles, or 6V battery vehicles (including models converted to 12V electrical systems).
- Not fully waterproof; condensation may occur on the lens due to temperature or humidity differences inside and outside the meter.
- Removing the stock meter may disable factory indicator lights; prepare separate indicators if required.
- Tachometer cables are wear items. If the outer cable housing is cracked or damaged, moisture, oil, or debris may enter the meter and cause failure. Always inspect the tachometer cable when replacing a mechanical meter and replace it if necessary.
- Due to differences in internal construction and dial color, illumination characteristics may vary between speedometers and tachometers, especially at night.
- Harness wiring must be modified to suit the vehicle. Electrical connectors such as bullet terminals are not included and must be prepared separately.
